Adam has learned to walk

Adam has been learning to walk this month and is doing well. He loves to play hide and seek and empty out the cupboard.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I started cooking Monday, toasting my breadcrumbs for stuffing and doing a pumpkin pie. Tuesday I did a coconut cream and starting my cranberry grape salad. Wednesday the chocolate and banana cream pie. My brother Jay and his girlfriend Ashley came on Wednesday evening. Thursday I did the lemon meringue pie after starting the rolls. I am so glad I didn't have to do the turkey. I love baking. My Aunt Kay brought the turkey and green bean casserole. My brother did the potatoes and Ashley did a shoepeg corn casserole which was delicious. We had a lot of fun; the kids helped me cook and were thrilled to have Sprite with grenadine to drink. Clara made cute turkey name cards and we ate on my grandmothers crystal and my wedding china.

After dinner, we did jigsaw puzzles and watched the Cowboy game. Clara and Jonas played a guessing word game with my aunt and uncle. We ended the night watching Home Alone.

Friday morning my sister and her boys came over for a breakfast burrito birthday brunch for Ashley. Then we went to a high school playoff football game at the Texas Stadium. My cousin's Alma mater Allen High School played Odessa-Permiam. Allen's band has 600 members and was awesome. The score was 28-22 and there was lots of action. It was fun to go to the stadium since it will be torn down after the football season ends. We came home for a dinner of leftovers and then went out to Cheddar's for a cookie monster treat.

Adam's 1st Haircut

Adam's hair has been looking thicker and longer in the middle. People were accusing me of giving him a mohawk. I decided it was time for a trim. Clara spiked it up to show how long it was and Mike got out the clippers. Now he really looks grown up. He is now 10 months old. He took his first steps last week, I am still trying to get a video of his steps.

Mud Fight!

We had a big storm come through last night that left a lot of rain in our sand pit where we took out our pool. The kids were so excited to play in the water. Greta and Jonas started throwing the mud. Clara got out, but got back in for pictures. She doesn't enjoy getting dirty like Jonas and Greta. Adam watched and enjoyed the show.

Halloween

Here are photos of us on Halloween. Jonas is Harry Potter. Clara is a supermodel. Greta is Spiderman since it was 80 degrees and her dog costume was too hot. Adam was a dinosaur. I was a bunny rabbit and Mike was a grumpy old man. We did a trunk-or-treat one night and then went to my mom's house and knocked some doors on my old street. Then we visited Mike's parents and my grandparents. It was a really fun night. Jonas had disguise day at school. He was an attorney, isn't he cute?
